Equipment for disabled (Max.load 110 kg / 242 pds)

This holiday home for disabled people has a variety of aids / equipment for taking care of handicapped people which can be used by our guest for free. These products are imported from Holland and most of them even fabricated in Europe countries. This equipment is manual operating as far as possible to guarantee the durability and usability. Guests can use these aids for free but are asked to use these aids like their own. So the next guests can rely upon these aids too.

We provide our guest with the next aids / equipment on request

	Electrical adjustable bed This single bed ( 90x200cm) is part of the double bed in the wheelchair accessible bedroom.
	It can be adjusted in height and the food and head rest are also electrical adjustable. So this bed is easy in use for people with handicaps.
	Shower chair, self propelled For those handicapped people who still have some independence in care taking we have a self propelled shower wheelchair for toilet and shower purpose. The seat and food rests are soft to provide comfortable seating.
	Monkey pole
	Pool hoist In Thailand near every holiday house has a pool. A home for disabled people with a pool screams for a pool hoist especially when the water temperature reaches the 30 degrees Celsius easily. One of the shower chairs is part of the pool hoist. A private pool with pool hoist is the perfect opportunity and solution for people with reduced mobility to swim in privacy.
	Shower chair This shower chair is easy in use when the handicapped person needs more stability during showering. This chair can be used over the toilet as well. The chair is a part of the pool hoist as well.
	Portable ramps Some sights in Thailand are wheelchair accessible and some are not. Some restaurants are accessible and some are not. Just like home. In case the accommodation is not accessible we provide our guests with portable ramps. These are easy in use for entering a taxi sitting in your wheelchair, dine in the restaurant of your choice or see that inaccessible sight. Overall length 210 cm, portable length 110 cm.
	Hoist Disabled holidays with hoists. A manual hoist for indoor use and to lift people out of their bed, out of their wheelchair or up from the toilet. Different sizes of slings are present to lift children and adults.

	Shower stretcher This aid can be adjusted in height with a foot pedal. Easy in use for the care takers during care showering and dressing. This stretcher has safety bars and a nice soft mattress with separate head rest and drain. But this aid also gives the disabled persons the possibility to rest outside on the veranda or near the swimming pool together with their family and friends.

Fixed shower seat
For those who can walk a few steps or who can transfer themselves to another chair we have adjusted a fixed shower seat to the wall of the shower in the master bathroom.

Grips
Next to each side of the toilet and in the shower some grips are adjusted to the wall to give stability while raising from the toilet or the fixed shower seat.

Doors
The entrance door is 120 cm wide. All doors inside are 85 cm wide except the door to the second bathroom and the housekeepers room.

Ramp
In front of this adapted holiday villa is a stationary ramp to enter the house. Length about 4 meters, height to overcome 40 cm.

Light switches
Adjusted at a height of 100 cm and therefore in reach of a wheelchair user.

Floor
The villa is tiled all over without any thresholds. Every room has tiles and the bathrooms have non slippery tiles. Very easy to move a wheelchair or any other aid.

Terrace
The terrace next to the pool and the paths in the garden and around the pool are all sand washed. Very smooth to move your wheelchair and safe to walk on with wet feet.
